OUR NEXT RETREAT

Our first retreat of 2024 will celebrate the start of the season. In May the island comes to life. The sun warms the sea and the breeze is heavy with the fragrance of fresh herbs and jasmine. It's an amazing time to visit Symi, before the burning white heat of summer dries the hillsides and fills the beaches. We first visited Symi in May and fell in love with the lush green valleys, the serenity of the village and the secluded, untroubled bays for wild swimming.
This trip will celebrate the best of the island at this time of year - we'll be foraging for wild herbs, going on guided walks to distant monasteries and diving into turquoise waters in hidden coves.
This is a creative retreat designed to spark inspiration. We'll offer a full itinerary, including hiking to unexpected places, boat trips, a cookery lesson from a Symi local and a wine tasting session. There will also be expert-led creative workshops such as ceramics, drawing, painting and cyanotypes to encourage your creative flow.
You’ll stay in a beautiful mansion house with seemingly endless outdoor space. There are secluded corners in the shade for peace and quiet, a huge communal table for dinner under the stars and a hot tub looking out to sea. Each bedroom has sea views, comfortable, modern beds and an en-suite bathroom.
You’ll have plenty of freedom and free time to explore the island, too. Time to go to the beach or to laze over cocktails in the harbour - in a group or solo.
Our group will be between eight and ten guests. And we’re tailoring this trip so it will be for creatives, artists or people who work in the creative space. We want the people you’re with to be as interesting and inspiring as the island itself. This is about discovery, creativity, exciting conversations and sharing ideas.
Your trip includes your ferry from Rhodes to Symi, transfers from the port to your accommodation, six nights at Interval HQ, breakfast every day, activities and entertainment, plus some organised lunches and dinners through the week (but not all meals are covered).

£1,700 if you’re attending solo (and have your own room)
£1,350 each if you’re sharing a room with a friend (total £2,700)
